Hi there! I'm Meagen.

I live with two autoimmune diseases (Hashimoto's and HS), and am an Educator (B.Ed.) and Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (C.H.N.C) through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.

I use the Paleo Autoimmune Protocol as part of my own healing journey, and I believe that AIP recipes should not only be easy, fast, and delicious...but also cozy, comforting, and share-able...even with your loved ones that aren't on the AIP!

Sticking to the elimination phase of the protocol can feel either difficult, restrictive, isolating, or just plain bland.

It's so easy to fall into a food-sameness rut!

We can get burnt out on eating the same old thing over and over again.

I've found this to be especially true when dining out or attending or hosting a get-together where there is food involved.

When we mix the sentimental factor that belongs to holiday food traditions (which we justly possess and attach fond and strongly-emotional memories to) with the oft-restricted feeling of elimination diets, it can be a recipe for tension, stress, and worry.
