Ingredients

  • 1 cup goat milk powder link to where I buy mine with discount code in NOTES
  • ¾ cup roasted carob powder
  • ½ cup coconut sugar or maple sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ cup collagen powder optional

Instructions

  1. Place a mesh strainer over a large mixing bowl.
  2. One by one, guide the goat milk powder, carob powder, coconut sugar, sea salt, and optional collagen powder through the strainer into the bowl.
  3. Mix well with a spoon until all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container or jar for storage. Label the container with the name of the mix and the date it was made.
  5. Store at room temperature away from light for up to 1 month. You may need to whisk it occasionally before use to break up any clumps.
  6. To make a cup of hot cocoa, add 2 to 4 tablespoons of the dry mix to a mug (depending on how rich you like it). Pour in hot water and whisk until the mixture is well combined, smooth, and frothy.

Recipe Notes

  • Add toppings such as whipped coconut cream, Paleo AIP marshmallows, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor and decoration!
  • Adjust the amounts of the dry ingredients to suit your one personal taste.
